develop our hose provided with safety and easy handling.
Our extra large diameter hose based on this policy was proven
its superiority by the experiment carried out by Fire Defence
Agency and some private companies on Feb 2005 to discharge mass
volume water against oil tank in Shibushi petroleum terminals
and bulk storage facilities. |

| Water supply performance & deployment and recovery function |
| Water supply performance is determined by hose diameter and
working pressure. We have developed 400mm dia.. hose, which is
the biggest dia.. hose in the world both in name and in reality
and its pressure loss is only 1/4 compared with 300mm dia. hose.
By these superior features, our 400mm dia. hose can supply large
volume water for long distance safely in low pressure. Generally
since large dia. Meter hose is considerable heavy, human power
is not enough in deployment and recovery work. On this purpose
we have established our best system by deploying a carrier system
and a special hose reel with our long experience as a hose manufacturer,
which can lay down this hose safely and easily in a short time.

| Our extra large diameter hose provides great limiting performance
of burst pressure. Also, to prevent form various troubles
such as break , drop out in connection area of hose and coupling.
We take measures to safety action (patent pending) including
in extension and rewind as following photos. We, Ashimori
Industry Co., Ltd., is one of the manufacturers on high pressure
hose over 150mm dia.. with a plenty of experience and know-how.. |

| Following photographs show the burst accident during the aforementioned experiment at Shibusi.
Bursted hose was other manufacture's product (150mm dia.) than Ashimori's. Ashimori is making the best effort to prevent such an accident by adopting its knowledge and experience as a fire hose manufacturer. |
Generally, hose can set up flexible shift of scene, not same as fixed pipe. Also, hose to transfer large volume water for long distance has significant role as pumps and other equipments. However, if handled in wrong way, it may result in big accident.
We therefore will make our every effort to develop and deal with our safety measure in whole system of Extra Large Hose including in other equipments and materials with our well· experienced knowledge and actual achievement.
Pumps and other equipments also play significant roles for the large volume water supply, which Ashimori can supply in combination with a large diameter hose. |
